Deer and cows, what the...

Friday morning I came upstairs ready to go to work. Blaise and Zac were standing at the kitchen window looking out in the backyard. We had six deer walking around our backyard. We have a four foot fence that they jumped over. I tried to video them jumping but couldn't catch them doing it. It was awesome to watch. I was a half hour late to work taking pictures and listening to Blaise talk about the deer. He said "isn't it cool". It was cool. We were woke up Sunday morning at seven thirty by cows mooing. I didn't even know we had cows anywhere by us. Apparently the farmer whose house we rent put cows in his field yesterday. I wasn't a happy camper. Mark and I got home late last night and wanted to sleep in. Naughty cows. I went outside and scared them away from our bedroom window. Now we can't see them anywhere. I think they're hiding behind the barn. They better stay there. I'm working on five hours sleep.

Blaise Having Fun At The Dinosaur Museum With Grandma & Grandpa

Blaise , Grandpa and I went to the dinosaur museum a couple of weeks ago. It just wasn't the same without Kaden and Kohen. Blaise seemed lost without them. He misses them alot. We all do. He keeps saying he wants to go to Iowa. I don't think he realizes how long it would take to go there. He might think it's worth it. We plan on coming to visit when I have vacation days.

Thankful

I am so thankful for Shanna and her family. I know it will be hard for all of us this Thanksgiving. I know I'll miss them being here. Good food and family is what Thanksgiving should be about. Happy thoughts, warm hearts and lots of smiles. Thank you Shanna for continuing to add pictures and fun stories about my boys on your blog. Thank you Regan for letting her. Thank you Kaden and Kohen for letting Shan take so many pictures. It helps me feel like we're closer somehow. I hope you'll feel our love this Thanksgiving Holiday. Wish we could spend it with you. Twilight Movie

Melissa and I went to the Twilight movie last night at the District. When the movie was about to start most of the women starting screaming and clapping. I thought, what the heck is going on. The first time Edward showed up on the screen the same thing happened. Women were yelling "I love you Edward". It made me laugh. Does anyone wonder why the women are so obsessed with Edward? I don't. Every women wants a romantic for a husband. It doesn't mean they have to be gushy or anything, just romantic. Husbands this is for you. Take time to make your wife feel special. You'll be glad you did. By the way, Melissa didn't like the movie and I thought it was pretty good. I thought it followed the book pretty well. Hurried a little, but followed the story. I think Edward could have been more good looking, a real eye candy if you know what I mean. Other than that, he did good.

Bridal Shower

Melissa's first bridal shower was today at Leslie's house in Kaysville. We had some yummy food. Homemade cinnamon rolls made by Alene. Alene's baking skills were good as usual. Jill made a delicious breakfast casserole. Carol brought fresh fruit and dip. All of you who couldn't make it missed out. We missed you too. Wedding plans are going good. We're about ready. Hurry up and get here September 27th. Hope to see all of you there.

Cruising

Mark's business partner decided that Mark had been making him so much money this year that he should do something nice for him. He decided to send us on a cruise. Wow! Nice but very unexpected. We will be going on a Canada/New England cruise the week after Melissa's wedding.I'm excited but can't plan much yet until I'm done helping Melissa with her wedding. I might sleep the whole time I'm gone. Just kidding. I better not. We plan on having the time of our life. Hopefully we'll have some pictures so show when we get home.

Iowa Traitors J/K

Shanna and her cute family are now in Iowa. I'm excited for them and very sad for me. I miss them terribly already. They have found a home to buy and are anxiously waiting to move in. Hopefully we'll be able to go visit them soon. Shanna says that they are enjoying Iowa, but wish we were all there to share it. We love them and wish them the very best.

Wedding Update

Melissa and Zac have decided to get married September 27th. Plans are being made and emotions are high, mostly mine. They are having a garden wedding. If any of you have any good ideas for decorations or anything, please share. Wish us all luck.

Kohen loves the water. It was a chilly day but he didn't care. I had to wipe his legs off to get them warm every once in a while. He was soaked. Blaise likes the water too, but Kohen didn't want to share very much. Blaise was a good sport.
